Founded by its Managing Director, Mr. Lim Boon Seong, PJK, who is the major shareholder, Pro-Tents Sdn Bhd is now rooted in Penang as its Headquarters while its activities and operations cover the length and breadth of the country including East Malaysia.
Mr. Lim Boon Seong, popularly known as Jack Lim, has acquired more than 25 years of valuable experience in managing the exhibition and canopy business. He started the business as Multi Tents Trading in early stage and acquired the new name of Pro-Tents Sdn Bhd thereafter. With a strong vision and mission to tackle the challenging tentage industry, Jack Lim was the pioneer in Penang to invest in the expensive alloy-based aluminum tent covered with PVC canvas.
While the demand for make-shift canopies and outdoor shelter tents has greatly increased in the past decade, Pro-Tents Sdn. Bhd is committed to offer the best physical design using the safest technology and modern equipment as its supporting backbone. The advanced hardware allows speedy erection and dismantling of the structures thus ensuring a higher and faster turnover in its business transaction.
The company has also made a strong presence in the rental of Exhibition Booths and supporting services to meet the demands of the MICE industry and Trade Show fraternity. With more than 700 SMIs based in Penang and Seberang Perai which render technical support to a growing clientele of internationally-renowned MNC factories, the government is encouraging more private-public partnership to entice more Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
